How do I know when project setup is complete?

After you complete all project setup tasks, Procore applies your chosen configurations to your new project. This last part of the project setup process can take a long time especially if Procore is applying a template to your new project. During this time, you'll see a banner that says we are finishing your project setup. You can work in your project while you wait, but you won't see all your chosen settings.

Answer

As soon as project setup is complete, Procore sends an email to the user who set up the project, notifying them of project setup completion. This is when you can expect to see your template configurations in your new project. When you create a project via API, Procore uses this same banner and notification process.

Contact support if you determine your project is missing settings after the following actions happen:

• The project creator receives the project completion email,

• the 'Finishing Project Setup' banner automatically disappeared in the application, and

• you reference this FAQ to see which settings do and do not carry over from a project template.
