Assist AvailabilityProcore Assist is generally available to customers in North America who license the required tool set. Additional beta features are being made available gradually and can be enabled on an opt-in basis.
For international customers who license the required tool set, two Assist beta experiences will gradually become available. The core beta experience offers access to Assist in Procore's Global Search. The second beta offers additional features. Learn how to use Assist within the Project Search experience. In the following video, Assist is called 'Copilot', the tool's previous name.
Answer
Assist is Procore's AI-driven assistant. It can respond to questions asked in a conversational style, like the kind of question you might ask a coworker.
Assist can find answers to your questions based on information from select tools, as well as certain types of files attached to those items. It can also answer questions about how to do something in Procore, based on information from Procore's support site.
You can ask Assist questions like:
What is the RFI response for ceiling height?
What are the installation instructions for external lighting?
How do I edit a submittal?
Is the submittal for paint color approved yet?
Assist uses different skills to answer different questions:
Skills are gradually developing the ability to answer questions about more and more Procore tools and information. Detailed information about which tool is supported by each available skill can be found in the table at the bottom of this page.
Answers. Find information about project data, like details from RFIs, Submittals, Specifications, and more. This skill can also answer questions about how to use Procore based on information from Procore's support site.
Reports. Answer questions about data aggregation, and draft a report along with a summary of the report data in response to your question. You can choose to save the report so you can come back to it later, or not.
Note: You must have permission to create reports to use this skill. Assist always respects user permissions.

Assist can't answer these types of questions yet:
Affect on other unsupported tool data
Examples:Can you tell me how this item's status could affect the schedule?
How does this item's schedule change impact the budget?
Priority
Examples:Can you tell me which RFIs are most important to address?
Which outstanding submittals should I address first?
Assist can't answer questions based on multimedia project information yet:
Assist provides the best answers when the relevant information in Procore is explicitly stated in text, either within a field in Procore, or within an attached document.
For example, if the paint color choice that was approved on a submittal is noted in a markup on an image, but not explicitly stated in the submittal response in written text, Assist won't be able to tell you which paint color was approved. It can't yet consider the text markup in the context of the image the same way we can as humans.
Assist can use its skills to answer questions based on the following information:
ImportantAssist does NOT read markups on drawings.
Assist can read text from the following file types: .pdf
The Reports Skill uses all fields reportable through Procore's 360 Reporting, which include more than those listed in the chart below for the Answer Skill. More about the Reports Skill.
