The new Procore sidepanel provides a consistent and persistently visible interface within the web application. This design ensures users have one-click access to both integrated Procore services and third-party applications, streamlining workflows and improving overall efficiency.

Which services are available in the new sidepanel?

There are three types of services available:

  • The first type includes global experiences present on every Procore page, such as Assist and Insights.

  • The second type includes experiences dependent on page context, like item-level conversations related to RFIs.

  • The third type includes third-party experiences also dependent on page context, such as DocuSign.

How do the services in the new sidepanel affect user experience?

Services are organized based on their scope and context dependency, ensuring that users have access to relevant tools and information based on their current page and session context.

Why aren't any services displayed for my account?

Company and project level pages may not display these services if:

  • The account is not entitled to these products.

  • The account has not enabled these features for their account.

  • The user does not have permission to see these features.
