Upload Documents to a Bid Board Project
Objective
To upload documents and drawings to a project that was created in the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool.
Background
The Documents tab is where drawings and other documents can be uploaded for a project that was originally created in the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool.
Things to Consider
Required User Permissions for the Bid Board tool.
Required User Permissions for the Estimating tool.
Required User Permissions for the Portfolio Planning tool.
When using the Estimating tool, uploading documents is only available for projects that originated in the Bid Board tool. See Add a Bid Board Project to the Portfolio Tool.
The following documents can be uploaded: image files, PDFs, text files, and Excel files.
Steps
Navigate to the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool and select the project.
ORNavigate to the project's Estimating tool.
Click the Documents tab.
Follow these steps to:
Upload Documents
Upload Drawings
Upload Documents
Click Upload Documents.
Select Upload Attachments.
This opens the Upload Files window, where you can upload files directly from your device or from other supported platforms.Select the files you want to upload.
Note: Click Upload More if you need to attach additional files.Click Upload.
Upload Drawings
Click Upload Documents.
Select Upload Drawings.
This opens the Upload Files window, where you can upload files directly from your device or from other supported platforms.Select the files you want to upload.

After your upload has been processed, your drawings will appear on the Documents page.
At this point, you can click Start Takeoff and set the Drawing Scale and begin the takeoff process. See the steps below.
ImportantSince the Drawing Scale determines the measurement between the drawing and actual project, it is important to configure the scale on the Takeoff page after uploading drawings.
