Edit a User's Distribution Groups in the Company Directory

Objective

To edit a user's distribution groups in the Company Directory.

Background

A Distribution Group is a group of users that is created in Procore's Company or Project Directory tool. This user group can be applied to a role, like 'Assignee', or added to a Distribution List to receive notifications based on the tool's notification settings.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Company level Directory tool.

  2. Click Users.

  3. Click Edit next to the user.

  4. Mark or clear the checkbox next to the relevant distribution group in the '[Company Name] Distribution Groups' section.

  5. Click Save.
