Objective
To view documents in the Document Management tool on the Procore Android app.
Things to Consider
Required User Permissions:
'Read Only' or higher level permissions to the project's Document Management tool.
Note: You can only find and view documents that you have access to. See How do permissions work in the Document Management tool?
Additional Information:
The following file types can currently be opened in the viewer:* Documents: .pdf, .doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx* Spreadsheets: .xls, .xlsx* Images: .jpg, .jpeg, .png* Videos: .mp4* Audio: .mp3, .mp4, .wav, .m4a
Steps
TipYou can quickly access drawings and specifications within the Document Management tool by tapping the Drawings or Specifications tool in the Procore app.Note: The app will not redirect to the Document Management tool if the Drawings or Specifications tools are active on the project.

Open the Procore app on an Android mobile device.
Tap the project's Document Management tool.
Populate a list of documents with one of these methods:
Tap on a saved view listed underneath a bolded collection name.
Enter a search term into the Search
bar.
As needed, refine your search by modifying the filter
or sort options. See Search for and Filter Documents in the Document Management Tool (iOS).
Tap the document you want to view.
Gestures for navigating between and within documents, once a document loads in the viewer:
View other documents: Swipe left or right to view up to 200 documents that are listed before or 200 documents that are listed after that document in the saved view.
Note: Tapping the arrows achieves the same result. Tap the screen to hide the arrows.View other pages: Scroll up or down in a multi-page document to view the additional pages.
Available features depending on which file type you are viewing:
Markups:* To show or hide markups that exist on the document, tap the Markups toggle on or off**.*** To filter markups:
Note: Filters automatically clear if you close the document.1. Tap the filtersicon, or tap one of the quick filters on top.2. Select the filters that you want to apply:* Authored By: The individual who added the markup.* Company: The company that an individual who added the markup is associated with in Procore.* Color: The color of the markup.* Type: The type of markup.3. Mark the checkbox next to each option you want to filter by and tap Select.4. Tap Apply to apply the filters to the document.5. If you want to clear the filters, tap Clear Filters.
Markup List: Tap the ellipsis
icon and select Markup to view a list of markups on the document. You can tap on a markup item to view it on the drawing.
Note: The number of visible markups compared to total markups and the number of applied filters are shown in this Markup list panel.Revisions/Versions: Tap the revisions
icon to view previous versions of the document.
Search: Tap the search icon to search text within the document.
Info: Tap the ellipsis
icon and select info to view all available information for the document.
Thumbnail View: Tap the ellipsis
icon and select Thumbnail View if you want to change to a thumbnail view**.**
Share: Tap the share icon to save, share, or print the document.
Note: The options available depend on the apps and settings on your Android device.
When you are done viewing the document, tap the x icon to close the viewer.
