Change Privacy Settings for a Folder or File in the Project Level Documents Tool (iOS)

To change the privacy of a folder or file in the project's Documents tool using the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.

• Required User Permissions

• If a parent folder is marked as Private, all files or folders in that folder are automatically Private.

• Private files and folders can only be accessed by:

  • The folder's creator.

  • Users with 'Admin' level permissions to the Project Documents tool.

  • Users who have the 'Access Private Folders and Files' granular permission enabled on their permission template.

  • Users who have been given access to the folder directly through the folder's permissions. See Change Permission Settings on a Folder or File in the Project Level Documents Tool.

1. Navigate to the project's Documents tool using the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.

2. Tap the folder or file you want to change the privacy for.

3. Tap the horizontal ellipsis .

4. Tap Edit.

5. Tap the 'Private' toggle ON or OFF.

6. Tap Save.
