Copy or Move a Group to Another Estimate

To copy or move a group to another estimate in the Estimating, Bid Board, or Portfolio Planning tool.

• Required User Permissions for the Bid Board tool.

• Required User Permissions for the Estimating tool.

• Required User Permissions for the Portfolio Planning tool.

• This feature is only available when there is more than one estimate in the project. If there is only one estimate, you will see 'Copy Here' instead of 'Copy to Other Estimate'.

1. Navigate to the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool and select the project.
   OR
   Navigate to the project's Estimating tool.

2. Follow the relevant steps below:

   • Copy a Group from an Estimate

   • Copy a Group from a Takeoff

   • Move a Group from an Estimate

   • Move a Group from a Takeoff

Copy a Group

From an Estimate

1. Locate the group that you want to copy to another estimate.

2. Click the vertical ellipsis icon for the group.

3. Hover over Copy to Other Estimate.

4. Click the estimate that you want to copy the group to.
   The group is automatically added to the selected estimate.

From a Takeoff

1. Click the Takeoff tab.

2. Locate the group that you want to copy to another estimate.

3. Click the vertical ellipsis icon for the group.

4. Hover over Copy to Other Estimate.

5. Click the estimate that you want to copy the group to.
   The group is automatically added to the selected estimate.

Move a Group

From an Estimate

1. Click the Estimating tab.

2. Locate the group that you want to move to another estimate.

3. Click the vertical ellipsis icon.

4. Hover over Move to Other Estimate.

5. Click the estimate that you want to move the group to.
   The group is automatically added to the selected estimate.

From a Takeoff

1. Click the Takeoff tab.

2. Locate the group that you want to move to another estimate.

3. Click the vertical ellipsis icon.

4. Hover over Move to Other Estimate.

5. Click the estimate that you want to move the group to.
   The group is automatically added to the selected estimate.
