Create an Inspection from a Location (Android)

Objective

To create an inspection from the Locations tool using an Android mobile device.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:

    • 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the Project level Inspections tool.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Locations tool using the Procore app on an Android mobile device.

  2. Tap the QR Code icon-qr-mobile.png icon to scan a QR code. See Scan a QR Code in the Locations Tool (Android).
    OR
    Tap the location.

    Tip icon Tip

    Tap the expand arrow icon-arrow-expand.png next to a location to see the sub locations.

  3. If prompted, tap View Details.

  4. Tap the add icon-plus-quick-create-mobile2.png icon and select Inspections.

  5. Tap the template you want to use for the new inspection.

  6. Tap into the fields to enter the appropriate information. See Create an Inspection (Android).

  7. Tap Create.
    Note: The inspection is automatically added to the location and the Inspections tool.
