Export Specifications as a PDF or CSV

Objective

To export specification sections as a PDF or CSV file on your computer.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions

  • The following information is included in your export:

    • Division number and description

    • Section number and description

    • Revision number

    • Issued date

    • Received date

  • If you are looking for a PDF of the original spec book or specifications, click Open Current Spec Book or Open next to an individual spec section.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Specifications tool.

  2. Optional: Search and Filter for Specifications.

  3. Click Export.

  4. Click PDF or CSV.

    • If you are exporting less than 150 specifications to a PDF/CSV, it is automatically be downloaded to your local computer.

    • If you are exporting more than 150 specifications, Procore sends you an email notification when the export is generated. The email includes a link that you can use to download the exported file.

Export PDF or CSV for Specification by Area

  1. Navigate to the project's Specifications tool.

  2. Click Specification Areas.

  3. Click Export.

  4. Click PDF or CSV.
    The system will only download the specifications for the selected area, for example, Building A, Area 02- Current Specifications.
