About Partial Payments With Procore Pay

To issue partial payments with Procore's Invoice Management tools and Procore Pay, your team must:

• Enable Procore Pay as a Payor

• Enable Disbursements

• Enable the Payments Issued Tab on a Commitment

• Create a Subcontractor Invoice

• For payors using an integrated ERP system: Show/Hide

  • For clients making partial payments with Procore Pay, it's important to note that the Payment Amount for partial payments does not sync with the Sage 300 CRE integration.

Roles and Permissions

Tracking and managing partial payments with Procore Pay requires users to be granted the Payments Admin or Payments Disburser role in the Payments tool. To learn about specific permissions to perform each available action, see Procore Pay Permissions.

Lien Waivers

Payors using Procore Pay receive automatically unlocked unconditional lien waivers with signatures only after the full invoice amount is paid. To obtain early access, payors can send a Send a Request to Unlock a Signed Unconditional Lien Waiver, which the payee's invoice contact must unlock.
